Sensei Naito Takeshi  8 Dan

Sensei Naito Takeshi 8th Dan

"Sensei Naito Takeshi represents the concept of Budo in modern times because it is within his generation that the method of sparring has changed, compared to that of previous generations. His lessons portray the way of living Budo, with a correct but decisive attitude, always prepared in natural stance 'shizentai'. Often he says that practicing a martial art one has to be severe with oneself, using technique to temper oneself physically and mentally with the objective of attaining maximum efficiency that then distinguishes a person who has experience. Many of his students have achieved important results thanks to this attitude characteristic of a different culture, transmitted by a person who has never lost the spirit of the Samurai. Sensei Naito is always at the forefront of researching talent that can represent the karate that he teaches, without ever abandoning masters and instructors who grow older with their students." (Maestro Carlo Bianchi, life-long student of Sensei Naito, ex-world champion in team kumite and FIKTA national coach in competitive karate)

"I have known Sensei Naito for several years and had the opportunity to follow his way of karate in many training camps. Sensei Naito portrays an indomitable warrior spirit in the dojo and outside. He pushes karate technique and interpretation to their limit and he manages to raise enthusiasm with his philosphy and thinking. Sensei Naito has been a long-time student and assistant to Sensei Shirai Hiroshi, who needs no introduction to karate-ka worldwide. Even if very much involved in coaching athletes for competition, especially in kumite, and he has an outstanding string of successes, Sensei Naito lives Karate-do, and best of all, brings with him the culture and spirit of Japan. It is always a pleasure and an inspiration participating in his seminars!" (Sensei Franco Azzopardi 5th Dan)
